Liberum acts as Sole Bookrunner on £35m secondary placing in Alpha FX Group plc
We are pleased to announce that Liberum acted as Sole Bookrunner on a secondary placing of £35m in Alpha FX Group plc, representing c.9.6% of the Company’s issued share capital, at a price of 910 pence per share for the Co-Founders and certain Directors of the Company.
The Sellers included Morgan Tillbrook, CEO and Co-Founder, and Jonathan Currie, Co-Founder, who together sold c.3.6m shares, and post the transaction will own 17% and 6% respectively of the issued share capital.
For the Co-Founders, the placing represents their first sale of shares since the IPO – since when, Alpha’s share price has increased over 4.5 times. As they did at the IPO, the Co-Founders have again agreed to a new three year lock-up, which investors have taken as a strong signal of their commitment to the Company.
Liberum has been Nomad and Sole Broker to the Company since its Admission to AIM in April 2017. Liberum acted as Nomad and Sole Bookrunner to the Company on its £20m primary placing in October 2018 and its £20m primary placing in April of this year.
